I am an ERC CoG Fellow and R4 Researcher at IMDEA Water, Spain. For over a decade I have been studying human behavior and the feedbacks between human and water systems, and how this leads to the emergence of nonlinear changes. To this end I develop and integrate modeling tools at the hydrologic, micro-, meso-, and macro-economic level and experimental economics, quantify uncertainty, and identify triggers of nonlinear change.

Most of my spare time revolves around my kids, but I also enjoy travelling and swimming in open waters.
