Francesco Sapino

Micro-macro modeling

Biography

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Salamanca, Spain. I am an R2 Researcher and I focus on using mathematical programming models to evaluate farmers’ adaptation strategies under changing environmental and policy conditions.

In this project, I aim to integrate behavioral economics into classical microeconomic modeling to better understand and assess the drivers of farmers’ non-rational decision-making. I love nature, sports and arts, and I’m also an amateur documentarist: with my Master’s colleagues I wrote and directed FEU, a short film presented in festivals in Italy and Europe.
