I am an Agricultural Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and I am currently working at the IMDEA Water Institute as a R2 Researcher. My research career has developed alongside projects focused on remote sensing-based irrigation water accounting at different spatial and temporal management scales, primarily through remote sensing-based soil water balance approaches. This experience culminated in a PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
Within the WaterTheft project, I monitor irrigated crop development and water use using a range of satellite-based tools and methodologies. Outside of research, I enjoy spending time laughing with family and friends, playing volleyball and board games, and exploring mountain trails, Mediterranean dehesa landscapes, and beaches with beautiful sunsets.
